The head of the Socialist party of Ukraine elected the people’s Deputy, member of faction of the bloc of Petro Poroshenko Sergey Kaplin.
As reported in a press-service of the politician, the decision to elect him head of the socialist party was adopted at the national Congress of socialists, social Democrats and trade unions, which took place in Kiev.
Also during the Congress it was announced the creation of the bloc “For ordinary people.” The co-founders of the bloc were also nearly fifty trade unions and organizations of pensioners and veterans of the interior Ministry and the armed forces.
“The STC is now the legally elected President, and not behind the scenes “crowned” 5 delegates from 4 of the present Kiva, which just put Avakov (the interior Minister Arsen Avakov), and Petrenko (Minister of justice Pavel Petrenko) illegally introduced into registers”, – stated in the message of press-service Caplin.
“PSD, which I still headed together with the socialist party, the Party of pensioners of Ukraine, the trade unions merged into a single unit “For ordinary people.” This unit goes together in power in local councils, Parliament and the presidency,” said Caplin, and added that a presidential candidate is nominated.
According to the report, “socialists, social-Democrats and the trade unions began the formation of a shadow government of left-wing and National personnel reserve”.
Delegates to the Congress also held a rally under the Ministry of justice to implement the decision of the Supreme administrative court, which decided to remove from the register Ilya Kivu and register the new leadership of the socialist party.
