The glorification of Stepan Bandera in Ukraine may hinder its integration into the European Union. This was stated by the head of the ruling party of Poland, law and Justice Jaroslaw Kaczynski in an interview, Do Rzeczy.
According to him, he said this to President Petro Poroshenko.
“This case is a particular choice of Ukraine. I clearly told President Poroshenko that Bandera they (Ukraine. – Ed.) Europe will not be included. This matters to me clear, and so we showed a lot of patience, but there is a limit,” stressed Kaczynski.
The politician also claims that the Ukrainians are “surpassed the Germans in cruelty against the poles.”
“We can not for many years agree that in Ukraine there was a cult of people who committed genocide against the poles” – he said.
