A musician sat in Lukyanovka jail for more than four years on suspicion of child molestation.

Tomorrow marks exactly a year since the release of accordionist Igor Zavadsky, who was sitting in Lukyanovka jail for more than four years on suspicion of child molestation. The decision to release was taken Podolsky district court. The musician was released directly from the courtroom under the obligations of its defenders, but the case was not finally closed. A year later he is cheerful and optimistic, he avoids the words in conversation jail, and his opinion prefers to call the “ninth planet” or “sabbatical”.

Recall, the Podolsky district court sentenced Igor Zavadsky to 13 years in prison for child molestation. But in April 2016, the court of Appeal overturned the verdict and sent the case for new judicial investigation other structure of court, and two months later in Podolsk court musician was released under the obligations of his three sureties.

Due to the fact that the case involved the defilement of minors (11-15 years), the trial was held behind closed doors, so to read the testimony of participants in the process and the materials of the case, the journalists could not. Meanwhile, to protect the accordionist stood many of his fellow artists. They claimed that Zavadsky innocent and the victims recanted their testimony.

CONCERTS IN THE COUNTRY. For the year Zavadsky gave 25 concerts in Kiev and cities of Ukraine. “Many people initially went to see the “molester”, but after listening to me play, fell in love with music. The first concert was held last year to 30 June, after 17 days after my return from “ninth planet” in the House. And my defenders are afraid of provocations and attacks on me. Police cordoned off three blocks around! It was too much. I quietly went and go himself on the streets, without protection. Staying in my apartment on the hem. And not afraid of anything. Because nobody I’ve done nothing wrong. The only caveat was before the first concert — somebody tore my poster of the actor and burned it on the steps,” — says “Today” Igor Zavadsky.

He considers himself a very fortunate man who is lucky in life. “Now I’m doing the work, regularly appear in court where the appoint of the meeting on my case, but they are transferred. I love Ukraine and Kiev and want to work for the public here,” he assured us Zavadsky.

THE TUMOR DISAPPEARED. Igor says that with him all the time miracles happen. “My nature is my

The swelling hurts and interferes with work, escape possible only by special injections. The operation to remove it doctors forbade me to do. And you know, when I was in my “vacation” and my camera for the first time brought the accordion, I noticed that the hygroma disappeared. And it’s not until now! Isn’t it wonderful?! I was there at first forbidden to play. Even musical instruments made in the list of prohibited items into the detention center,” says Zavadsky.

MENTOR. The musician often remembers people who helped him in jail. “One businessman, convicted for life, even saved my life, stood up. Now his 10-year-old daughter stands at my concerts. Kristina is still very young, but, I would say, a brilliant violinist, and when he plays, many appear in the tears. I told her all help. Actually I have no and had no pupils. Yes, many may call me your teacher, but I’m not. Yes, there were the people I provided advice. But it was only at Board level, for which I suffered when I was nominated all these terrible accusations… Advice I continue to give young talents, and there is nothing seditious,” says Zavadsky.

He adds that he gave his pop accordion namesake — Ivan Zavadsky. “Vanya is a student at the Conservatory, and he has no money on a good tool. So I gave it to him. We even played together. By the way, on June 30 at the house of the actor will be my final concert of this season, everyone is invited,” says the musician.
