Champion IBF, IBO and WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has learned the name of his next opponent.
His first fight after epic battle with Wladimir Klitschko, Joshua will spend 28 October at Cardiff arena “Stadium Principality”, and his opponent will be former European champion Kubrat Pulev.
“October 28, will come not soon. I really wanted to return to the ring since the match at Wembley, and now the fight is confirmed. During the next eight weeks I will be focused on the 20th battle in a Pro-ring. I am very happy to feel the atmosphere of a Packed stadium in
Cardiff, and I will try to give the fans a spectacular night”, – quotes the words of Joshua “Sky Sports”.
In the battle with Bullet Joshua will defend the title by the IBF. Victory in this fight will open the British boxer the way to a unification bout against the WBO title holder, Joseph Parker, or the world champion under version WBC Deontay Wilder.
Kubrat Pulev, Anthony Joshua unites Wladimir Klitschko – Bulgarians in 2014, after fight with the Ukrainian was in deep knockout, and the British in April of this year, finished off the veteran in the 11th round and persuaded him to retirement.
