World champion in the heavyweight versions of IBF, IBO and WBA champion Anthony Joshua expects the Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko for the response of fight-revenge.
The first meeting of the two Olympic Champions took place on 29 April in London arena “Wembley” – in a battle with the mutual knockdowns were stronger than the Briton won a technical knockout in the 11th round.
Klitschko has the right to an immediate rematch, but Ukrainians do not hurry to give Joshua a definitive answer. The former champion is waiting for a tempting offer from British promoter Eddie Hearn, who is working out the details of re-megafit.
“I’m not going to wait for him forever, Klitschko should be determined. Yes, we are still waiting for Klitschko, but we have our own plans. Klitschko knows that approaching a time when it needs to decide and say whether he wants another fight. I’m ready to step into the ring against him again”, – quotes the words of Joshua in the British press.
If Klitschko agrees to a rematch, the fight likely will take place in Las Vegas. The promoters also consider the conduct of the battle in Nigeria, Cardiff and Dubai.
The new world champion will return to the ring at the end of 2017 – the next opponent of Anthony Joshua will be Vladimir Klitschko, any mandatory Challenger at the line IBF Kubrat Pulev.
