Jason Voorhees is one of the evil dead?

The theory that unkillable (and, in particular, unsinkable) maniac Jason Voorhees from the “Friday the 13th”, is actually deditos alive and well since the release of the film “Jason goes to hell: the final Friday” (“Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday”) , Adam Marcus, that is to say, already since 1993. Recall: dedicati called creatures kanaryjskie possessed by demons, from the series “the evil dead” Sam Raimi. Usually the demons come to our world, when someone lightly reads aloud the terrible book of the Necronomicon (this is from the work of HP Lovecraft), composed, among other things, human blood.

Linking the mythology of the “evil dead” and “Friday the 13th” started with the appearance of the Necronomicon in one of the scenes of”Last Friday”. And then the Director confirmed that the reference in fact is not conceived as a friendly “wink” Raimi, and as an attempt to show the history Voorhees with a rather unexpected quarter:

She (Pamela Voorhees) signed a deal with the devil by reading the pages of the Necronomicon to return to life son. That’s why Jason was not really Jason. This is Jason plus “evil dead”. From this point of view, I believe that in a few months he turned from a little boy living in the lake, in a huge zombie-the man who can’t be killed. In my opinion, this is an interesting mix of franchises, and Raimi liked it!

But to officially confirm its intention to merge the horror universes in one of Markus, of course, could not:

I couldn’t share my idea with New Line because they did not have the rights to “evil dead”. So I had to resort to the “Easter egg” which I tried to focus. In the film there is a scene with this book, so I hope that the audience understand my idea. In my opinion, Jason Voorhees is dedit. One of the evil dead. And it’s completely canonical.

The theory was strongly supported by many fans of the genre, but not all. Twitter account Friday The 13th News, responsible for the latest news on the franchise Jason reacted to the ideas of Marcus quite skeptical:

This “Jason is a deadite,” revelation is silly. The Necronomicon angle was a fun little explanation within the movie for Jason, however,….

This revelation “Jason – gedit” is just silly. The influence of the Necronomicon would be a funny point of view for “Friday the 13th”, but “evil dead” has absolutely nothing to do with it. Marcus used a lot of “Easter eggs” and other films. Look, Adam, I LOVE your film, but it is nothing more than fan service.

However, if the film generates a similar theory – that he really curious. And me personally, “Last Friday” is also very much, and the idea of crossing two steep universes in General looks great. I wonder who would win that face Jason in the battle with Ash Williams?
