The air forces of Japan crashed.
SH60J the helicopter military-air forces of Japan the destroyer “Setogiri” crashed. As noted, contact with the helicopter was lost on 26 August at 23:00 local time (17:00 Kyiv time). On Board the helicopter were four people, one of them was rescued, three went missing.
The Ministry of defence is investigating the incident. “I want to do everything to find and rescue as many human lives”, – said the Minister of defence, Yoshinori Onodera.
According to TASS, the crew of the helicopter participated in the exercises on the take-off and landing on the deck “Setogiri” and other ships at night. Onodera reported that shortly before the incident the crew had issued a distress signal.
Earlier it became known that on Friday, 25 August, the helicopter of the US armed forces Black Hawk crashed off the coast of Yemen. After the crash, was rescued five members of the service who were on Board the aircraft. Another was missing. We will remind, in Turkey crashed American drone.
