Japan since September of this year will simplify visa regime for Russian businessmen and students, said the country’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. “This is a special measure for Russia”, — he said at a press conference following Russian-Japanese talks at the highest level, writes “Interfax”.
“The decision to simplify procedures for issuing visas to students 465 Russian universities with the aim of expanding contacts between the youth, on whose shoulders the future of bilateral relations,” — said Abe.
In addition, the Prime Minister of Japan said that he agreed with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to the former Japanese inhabitants of Southern Kuriles of the burial places of their relatives in August or September of this year.
