James van told about the “Curse 3” and Hunchback

After the commercially successful, but not clearly received by the public and critics of the spin-off of “the Curse Annabel” some of us still had doubts on this score, but a strong start and the first feedback on the second part of persuasion: the present king kinokarera James WAN failed as the Director, screenwriter and producer, to produce their own movie-universe of horror. The main line in this mega-franchise movie series “the Curse”, the second line went to the doll Annabelle (we just relax and wait, when will be officially announced on the triquel). On the approach of another spin-off, “a Nun” who has been shot and is under post-production. And in the future – “the Curse 3” and a movie about a Hunchback (a.k.a. “Crooked man” a.k.a. “Crooked man”, The Crooked Man).

In a conversation with Entertainment Weekly van told about these plans.

We think we have a really great story. We would like to do with the universe “Curse”? To each of our little branch of it had its own “taste”, isn’t it? For example, “the Curse of Annabelle” is a variation on the classic theme of haunted dolls. And with The Crooked Ma I would like to do something like dark fairy tales, something more fancy in the framework of this sub-genre. I like the idea that within the universe of “Spells” each of our little film has its own color so that they are not perceived as the same movies.

As for the “Curse of 3”, the Director who is unlikely to be the van itself…

We are working up a sweat over the “Spell 3”. Of course, it is very important to me. So, we are now half way through the work on the scenario and continue to Refine it. We want to be sure that the script is really good.
