The IMF also gave the answer to the question about the cuts in social benefits in Ukraine.
In the final version of the Memorandum between Ukraine and the IMF do not exist different requirements for cuts in social benefits.
This was reported by Minister of social policy Andrei Reva.
He noted that the Fund has not made any demands about freezing the minimum wage. It was not, he said, and about raising the retirement age.
Ukraine has agreed with the IMF conditions of the Memorandum in early March, 2017.
“In the final Memorandum, there are no provisions to freeze the minimum wage for three years, banning pensioners to work. There is no increase in the retirement age. No apocalyptic things in Memorandum no. And you will be able to see this,” explained Reva.
The Minister assured that the Memorandum was purely in the interests of Ukraine and Ukrainian. Roar said that on some points even managed to convince the Foundation to change the opinion.
