In the final of the Russian competition “New Wave – 2017”, which will be held in Sochi from Ukraine will sing singer ISAAK, he’s Artem Ivanov from group “Yin-Yang”.
On April 7 and 8, the results of the audition were selected 15 of the participating countries, including: Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Romania, Vietnam, USA, and five members from Russia.
Ukraine this year is finalist of the seventh season of the Russian “factory of stars” and the lead singer of “Yin-Yang” Artem Ivanov. The group emerged after talent show and became her producer personally Konstantin Meladze. Ivanov and his colleague Tatiana Bogacheva sang such hits as “Karma”, “Kamikaze”, “a Little, Yes the grind” and others.
In an interview, in 2016, the year the artist spoke about the Russian-Ukrainian conflict: “In Ukraine, I worked perfectly. As well as in Moscow. Perhaps for the reason that I’m not familiar and don’t want to be friends with people who is to blame for this conflict. And the one and on the other side. I am a citizen of Ukraine, living in Russia. And in Ukraine too (I have a house here). There feel quite comfortable.”

Note that the international contest of young singers “New wave” for the third consecutive year will take place in Jurmala in Sochi, as the organizers are the Russian artists, most of whom are denied entry to Latvia. The competition will be held in Sochi from 8 to 14 September.
