Chambers of U.S. Congress passed a law that, by 2033 the space Agency to send humans to Mars to explore exoplanets and asteroids.
Already in the 2017-2018 year, NASA will launch a new plan of Congress.
In particular, by 2020 should be established a plan for the landing of the Rover on the red planet to study the existence of life on it. It was also planned to further support the study of exoplanets Trappist-1 in the constellation of Aquarius with a telescope “James Webb”.
NASA will continue to study the origin of life in the Universe and scenarios of its evolution. There is the prospect of sending a probe to Europa — a satellite of Jupiter, which assumes the existence of conditions for development of organic matter.
The first manned flight is planned in 2021, when the astronauts go to the moon. Must be ensured a permanent human presence in low earth orbit, this means the creation of conditions for space tourism.
At the same time, Congress refused the mission to tow one of the asteroids into lunar orbit for further study.
A separate clause about the plan for aviation: the state expects from the NASA new developments in the field of supersonic aircraft. The Agency is already conducting tests of a prototype of a supersonic passenger plane.
