It became known, what most concerned Putin before the election

Named the main “headache” of Putin.

The youth, who in March 2018 for the first time participate in the elections of the President of Russia becomes a “headache” for the Kremlin.

This is because the majority of young people are less loyal to the Putin regime than the rest of the population.

Sociologists explain this by the fact that they spent their lives in a period of relative prosperity without serious shocks, in contrast to the often harrowing experience of their parents in the 1990-ies.

“The young are less worried about stability and more interested in change,” – said Alexei Grazhdankin, Deputy head of research organization Levada Center.

“15 million Russians aged 15 to 24 years are increasingly finding their own political voice, and he is not loyal. The group under the age of 25 became a strength for the first time in anti-Putin protests in recent months, making them among the most massive demonstrations over the past five years”, – writes the edition.

The Kremlin spin doctors will struggle to achieve a high turnout and a clear victory for Putin in the elections, but their message is not getting through to young people that does not watch TV and prefer to get information from the Internet. For this reason, authorities are trying to attract bloggers to the political agenda and, through them, to communicate with young voters.

A survey of more than 6,000 students, published in may, the Higher school of Economics showed that up to two thirds of them don’t trust legislators and other officials. They distinguish corruption – a key theme of the protests this year – as the main problem of Russia.

It is noted that the Kremlin spin doctors will struggle to achieve a high turnout and a clear victory for Putin in the elections, but their message, despite the monopoly on television do not reach young people who prefer to get information from the Internet.
