The President is not going to retreat and seek help from European partners.
Talks about getting the macro-financial assistance from the EU continue. This was stated on Thursday, 23 November, the President Petro Poroshenko during communication with journalists in Brussels.
The President announced that he has raised this issue in the negotiations and plans to discuss it further.
“I’m going to do my best for Ukraine to receive macrofinancial assistance, and we developed priorities for cooperation”, – he said.
However, he noted that some of the criteria still remains unfulfilled.
“Ukraine needs to do their homework, and the EU needs to meet its obligations. Yes, we have a few steps left, but remember what we had for the last three months – we had a fall of reforms,” the President said.
