President Petro Poroshenko from the beginning of the Russian aggression against Ukraine has donated 500 million of personal funds on the needs of the army.

“Petro Poroshenko has spent more than 500 million UAH of its own funds to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including tens of millions for the 3rd separate special purpose regiment of special operations forces (up to 2016 operational command “South” of Land forces )”, – stated in the message.
In particular, for the funds for the Mat was purchased “cars, body armor, gear, uniforms, warm clothes, as well as 100 sniper complexes, consisting of 82 x 7-62 mm carbines Z-10 (.308 Winchester) and 18 Savage rifles chambered for .338 Lapua Magnum, optics, rangefinders and tens of thousands of rounds.”
About the help of the head of state informed the Ukrainian military and told the assistant Secretary of defense Yury Biryukov.
At the same time, according to the Foundation for Poroshenko, for the period 2014-2016 years, he has donated to charity more than 700 million hryvnia, of which 350 million spent on military needs, and another half for social and infrastructure projects.
