The Ukrainians have paid 2 billion UAH of the military tax.

In January-February, the state Treasury was replenished by almost 2 billion UAH. revenues from military duty.

This was announced by the Director of the Department of taxes and fees from individuals of the SFS Paul Dronyak.

“The payment of the military tax compared to the corresponding period last year increased by 465,4 million UAH. or by 30.7%. In February, the proceeds from the military tax amounted to almost 1.1 billion UAH. that exceeds the figures of the corresponding period last year to 258,3 million UAH. or 31%,” – said the official.

As you know, the military tax in Ukraine was introduced on 3 August 2014. Its rate amounts to 1.5% of the tax object. They are levied on income in the form of salary, other encouraging and compensation payments or other payments and emoluments payable to the payer in connection with labor relations. In addition, the defence charged with collecting winnings in state and non-state money lottery, winnings received from gambling. Fee payers are natural persons both residents and non-residents who receive income in Ukraine, physical persons-residents receiving foreign income, and tax agents.
