Half a million residents of Ukraine visited this summer on the beaches of Turkey.
Turkey remains one of the most popular destinations for Ukrainian tourists. In the first half of the year Turkish Republic was visited by 530 thousand Ukrainians, 22% more than in 2016.
The most popular places in Turkey for Ukrainians became Istanbul, the resort of Antalya and the resorts of the province of Mugla (Fethiye, Dalaman, Bodrum, Marmaris). And if the historical monuments of Istanbul were visited approximately the same number of Ukrainian tourists, as a year ago, in the province of Mugla and Antalya influx of tourists from Ukraine increased by approximately half.
We will remind, in June the Ukrainians were able to travel to Turkey without a passport, ID card, including to enter, leave, transit and stay in Turkey up to 90 days within 180 days.
