Every fourth Ukrainian is in favour of granting the right to carry a gun on the street for self-defense.
This was stated by the sociologist, candidate of science Alexander Shulga.
“The ability to carry a weapon for self-defense on the street is about 25-26% of Ukrainians, and for permission to keep it at home — more than a third. It is ironic that in the mistrust of law enforcement, Ukrainians have the same distrust of ordinary citizens: “I only trust my relatives, and what the mind of my neighbor — who knows. Therefore, don’t need him any weapons,” — said the mood of Ukrainians Shulga.
