More than 30% of Ukrainians do not live at his residence. This was announced by first Deputy Minister of economic development and trade (MEDT) Maksim Nefedov.
“We estimate that at least 30% of the population does not reside at the place of registration”, – he said during the conference “public administration Reform: implementation assessment of the state of Affairs, achievements and challenges” on Thursday in Kiev.
According to Nefedova, theoretically, the person is not obliged to inform the state where he lives.
“On the other hand, we understand that this creates a huge number of further problems. From difficulties with the voting, until difficulties with the message about the trials,” – said the first Deputy Minister.
Nefedov noted that now in Parliament there is a bill on auto-commit violations of traffic rules, and the question is, who will receive fines if you do not know the person.
He added that there are initiatives of the transition to the declarative principle of registration and the mechanism of online registration.
