Canadian doctors have researched that children who drink cow’s milk, grow better.
A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition briefly about it, reports canadian Hospital of St. Michael.
On average, children who drank cow’s milk were 0.4 centimeters taller than the other.
The reason for this product effect on the growth of children is that cow’s milk is rich in proteins, according to the study authors.
For example, two cups of cow’s milk to contain 16 grams of protein, which is 100 percent of the daily requirement of proteins for a three year old.
In this case, two cups of almond milk usually contain four grams of protein, accounting for only 25 percent of the daily requirement.
The experts examined 5 034 children aged 24 to 72 months. Of these, 13 percent daily drinking cow’s milk, 13% – other 5% – both beverages.
