This morning, the Israeli military conducted a successful rocket launch to test its engine. The missile was launched from one of the bases in the center of the country and was seen by thousands of Israelis, who at that time was driving to work.
“Israel conducted a launch to test rocket engine… the Tests were in accordance with the plan,” said the Israeli defense Ministry, without disclosing details.
Online resource Ynet suggests that the test engine can be used in missiles surface-to-air, such as the Arrow, or the earth-land, like Jericho, which, according to unofficial data, can carry a nuclear warhead.
