The people of Ukraine will now be easier to get refugee status in Israel.
Israel changed the order of consideration of references of citizens of Ukraine to obtain the status of refugee. It is reported by the Department of consular service in Facebook.
The Director of the Department of consular service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Pogoreltsev discussed with the Ambassador of Israel in Ukraine Eliav Belotserkovsky cooperation in the consular sector, protection of the rights of citizens of both countries, as well as the entry and stay in Israel for citizens of Ukraine.
“Ambassador, in particular, advised on the introduction of the Israeli side of changes in the order of consideration of references of citizens of our country on refugee status in Israel. These changes will significantly improve the procedure of entry of Ukrainians in Israel”, — said in the message.
The parties agreed to maintain regular dialogue to solve the consular question.
In late August, foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has announced the beginning of negotiations between Ukraine and Israel on the abolition of mutual roaming.
