Israel deports 40 thousand refugees

After the erection of the barrier on the border of Israel with Egypt, the flow of refugees has almost stopped, said the Prime Minister of Israel.

Israel plans to expel from its territory about 40 thousand African refugees. About it on November 19 at the government meeting said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

It is noted that Netanyahu spoke in this context about the “three-step” policy toward refugees.

According to him, after the erection of the barrier on the border of Israel with Egypt, the flow of refugees has almost ceased. About 20 thousand of African immigrants Israel has already deported. The third stage of “intensified deportations” possible through international agreements.

“This allows us to deport the remaining 40 thousand who arrived without their consent,” said Netanyahu.
