iOS is no longer considered the most reliable mobile system

Experts have called Android a more reliable OS.

Operating system from Apple ceased to be the most reliable in the world.

New data show that “performance issues and high failure rate” of the iPhone over the past year has made Android a more stable system.

Android is still criticized for its insecurity and unreliability, but with the improvements Google made in recent years, it is not so. This is confirmed by a recent report from security firm Blancco.

“The information contained in the report, based on internal data collected from millions of IOS and Android devices that have been tested on our platform in North America, Europe and Asia during the fourth quarter of 2016”, – stated in the document.

Blancco engineers took into account problems with hardware and software, including the reliability of third party apps developed for both platforms.

While the failure rate drops Android for a long time – with 85 percent in the 4th quarter of 2015 and 35 percent in the 2nd quarter of 2016, the percentage of failures the iPhone was growing. In the 4th quarter of 2015 it was 15 percent, and as of Q4 2016, this figure amounted to a staggering 62 percent.

The most common problems among iPhone users – overheating, hanging applications and malfunction of the headphones.
