MAU has filed lawsuits against Ryanair and the Ministry of Infrastructure of 20 million UAH.
The Minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan filed a counter-suit against the airline Ukraine International airlines (UIA, Kyiv) on the protection of honor and dignity.
He stated this at a briefing on September 25.
“I made a claim on protection of honor and dignity. He’s already filed and I hope that will be addressed as soon as possible. I believe that those manipulations which are conducted by the UIA, are dishonest, have no relation to fair competition,” said Omeljan.
Recall that MAU filed lawsuits against Ryanair and the Ministry of Infrastructure of 20 million UAH.
Earlier, the Irish airline Ryanair after lengthy negotiations, has canceled plans to enter the aviation market of Ukraine. The airline explained the decision disagreements with the leadership of the Boryspil airport, which has refused to implement the reached between the airline and the Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine agreement.
In turn, the General Director of Boryspil Paul Ryabikin accused Ryanair of illegal requirements. He also said that because of the ultimatum Ryanair airport may incur losses of UAH 2 bn.
Commenting on the situation, Omeljan said that the refusal Ryanair planned entrance to Ukraine guilty as the largest carrier in the country – UIA.
In addition, Omeljan accused the UIA to pay UAH 400 million of taxes.
MAU, in turn, denied the existence of the debt to the state budget.
