Utility tariffs in Russia increased from 1 July 2020. The increase in fees for the different regions range from 2.4 to 6.5 percent.
Most utility services have risen in the North Caucasus, Buryatia, Yakutia, Omsk region and Moscow. In some regions, for example, Ryazan and Irkutsk regions, separate tariffs have increased only slightly or even declined to increase fees.

Informed experts estimate that the Russians have less to pay for utility services — year-on-year spending fell by approximately 13 percent, while spending on only one heat supply declined by 33 percent.
