The staff of the National reserve “Khortytsya” went on an archaeological expedition to Kherson region.
During the expedition, the archaeologists made several dives in the swamps of the Dnieper near Kherson.
The expedition went to the location of the legendary Oleshye, Slavic settlement of 10-13 centuries, which was burned during the invasion of the Tatar-Mongol. Catch the underwater excavations at the site of the ancient city became Slavic pot 9-11 St and a few wooden boards on the site of the wreck. Age boards have been unable to determine.
