In Uzhgorod bloomed the longest in Europe Linden alley

In Uzhgorod began to flower the longest lime Avenue of Europe, with the total length of 2.2 kilometers.

Alley, Czech botanists planted in 1928, is located on the right Bank of the river Uzh. It begins in the heart of the city with the waterfront of Independence and stretches along the river to the end of the Student promenade.

On Linden alley in two rows planted several hundred trees of different varieties of lime. Therefore, the flowering period lasts about two months.
