In Ukraine will test the 5G connection

The government is ready to transfer to drafting of relevant legislation.

– We are interested in bringing the latest technology together with the EU, who wish to participate in the testing of 5G, the preparation of the legislation for this, – said the head of the Ministry Stepan Kubiv.

Earlier, Poroshenko signed a decree on the introduction of 4G in July 2015. Now Ukraine has the third generation (3G). In February 2015 three mobile operators of Ukraine (“Astelit” (TM life), “MTS” and “Kyivstar”) bought from the state a license to use 3G for 8.8 billion. Communication of the fourth generation 4G will provide Internet speed is almost two times higher – up to 100 Mbps.
