Fuel in Ukraine will go up in September.
“We expect that in September, 1 liter of A-95 gasoline could rise by 2% or up to UAH 25.4. The main reason is the increase in world oil prices. It is expected that Brent price will rise to $ 55 per barrel,” – said the head of information-analytical center Forex club in Ukraine Mykola Ivchenko.
In turn, Director of energy programmes of NASU Valentyn Zemlyansky cites a figure of 26.5 UAH per liter and predicts that the fuel will follow the exchange rate.
Today a liter of gasoline on the average across Ukraine is 24,85 UAH.
Note that in early summer the price of gasoline has decreased significantly. So, gasoline a-95 fell by almost UAH 1 per liter. But the fall trend, according to the Duma experts, will change.
