“The beginning of monetization we started this year. This year people first will receive from the previous heating season, the monetization of savings, which they received due to the savings on subsidies. To date, compiled all the lists of citizens applying for this payment, which is about 1 million 700 thousand families”, – said Rozenko.
In addition, the Vice Prime Minister added that this year is expected to reduce the amount of subsidies for certain categories of citizens. “I think this year we will not be much different figures, but we expect that the amount of subsidies will decrease and, possibly, the amount of subsidy slightly reduced for some categories of citizens. For example, working pensioners, as the level of wages in Ukraine increased significantly. This is due to minimum wage increase to 3.2 thousand. In the category of pensioners we no significant changes will provide” – said Rozenko.
Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine added that the artificial reduction of the subsidy will not be tolerated.
