Fraudsters tricked many Ukrainian tourists, who visited the southern region from 2015 to 2017.
Nikolaev ciberpolitica has exposed a criminal scheme Internet scams that have deceived many people in the southern region. About it reported in Department of communications GU National police of Ukraine in the Nikolaev area.
“Two attackers under the pretext of selling various goods and services rental of apartments in resort cities of Ukraine through a well-known Internet resources took possession of the savings during 2015-2017. Currently, the police documented 10 such facts. Scams reported about suspicion in Commission of crime”, – is spoken in the message.
Scammers carefully conspiritual its activity: constantly changing Bank card, created “fake” reviews about their activities and used a hidden mobile phone numbers. In addition, they were not personally acquainted with the victims. Communication with customers scammers supported in the social network, which is currently on the territory of Ukraine is limited.
At the place of residence of malefactors the police carried out the authorized searches. According to the results, seized computer equipment, mobile phones, Bank cards, rough notes and other evidence of their criminal activities.
