Ukrzaliznytsia is planning a 25% increase in the price of travel for passengers.
Tariffs for transportation of passengers by rail could increase by 25% (+/- 3%) in 2018-2019 and 30% (+/- 3%) – in 2020-2021 years.
This is stated in a government-approved Forecast of economic and social development of Ukraine for the years 2019-2021.
It is noted that freight rates can increase by 25% annually (+/- 3%) in 2018 or 2019, but in 2020-2021 years their growth will slow to 20% (+/- 3%).
The government also recalled that last year the growth of tariffs for passenger railway transportation was 5.9%, trucks – 15%.
Uz was transformed into a joint stock company in December 2015. By the end of 2017, the company received UAH 100 million profit.
Part of the uz includes Donetsk, Lviv, Odessa, South, South-West and pridniprovska Railways, and other enterprises and organizations of integrated industrial-technological complex, providing the transport of goods and passengers.
Recall that railway tickets on the train Railways has risen from 1 June to 6% in connection with the onset of summer. This happened after raising the ticket prices by 12% on may 30.
