In Ukraine, the raging viral infection: sick more than 150 thousand Ukrainians

Among the cases of SARS and influenza, more than 70% of children.

During the week, from 9 to 15 October, SARS are sick more than 165 thousand people, most of them children. This is stated in the information Bulletin of the Centre of influenza and SARS in Ukraine.

“During the reporting week SARS ill 165 669 people, of which 71.4% of children under 17 years. The incidence of influenza and SARS (total) among the population of Ukraine 404,7 per 100 thousand population”, – stated in the message.

The highest incidence of influenza and Ari registered in Kiev – 733,4, the lowest – in Ternopil region – the 196.7 per 100 thousand population.

In the reporting week 2017 in one of the regions of Ukraine the epidemic threshold was not exceeded.

Deaths from influenza during the reporting week was not.
