The share of nuclear power plants nuclear power plants in the structure of electricity production increased to 55.3%.
Electricity production in Ukraine increased by 1.1% to 140,603 billion kWh. consumption of electricity also increased by 0.8% to 135,3 billion kWh, taking into account technological losses in networks.
This is evidenced by data the Ministry of energy and coal industry.
Industry increased its electricity consumption by 1.8%, to 46.2 billion kWh.
Most of the increased consumption of the construction industry – from 10.1%, engineering – by 8.6%. Then as the chemical and petrochemical industry reduced consumption by 6.7%.
The population reduced consumption by 2.1%, household consumers – 1%, other non-industrial customers increased their consumption by 6%.

So, a languid power plant (NPP) in 11 months increased production of electricity by 7.1% to 77.8 billion kWh. Thermal power plant (TPP) and combined heat and power (CHP) have reduced production by 8.7%.
Hydro and pumped-storage power plant (HPP and PSPP) in the January-November-2017 increased its production by 10.4%.
Electricity production from non-traditional sources (wind farms, SES, biomass) for the period increased 21.7% to 1,744 billion kWh.
In addition, the supply of heat energy decreased by 11.6% compared to the same period of 2016 to 17.6 million Gcal.
