In Ukraine starts its work the IMF mission

The IMF mission arrived to assess the Ukrainian reforms.

Today in Ukraine begins its work, the mission of the International monetary Fund (IMF). It is reported online edition of the Chronicle.info with reference to RBC-Ukraine.

The IMF mission arrived to assess the Ukrainian reforms, which the government has pledged to carry out the programme of cooperation. In particular, among the requirements of the IMF to Ukraine was the adjustment of gas prices for the population at market prices, the reform in the banking sector, reducing the size of state budget deficit, the introduction of criminal liability for illegal enrichment. It will be in Ukraine for 2 weeks.

We will remind, the national joint-stock company “Naftogaz of Ukraine” has offered gas for the needs of the population in the conditions of the PSO at a reduced price. The new price of gas 245 UAH per thousand cubic meters or almost 4% lower than what was acted in April.
