The amount of debt on salary payment in November reached 2,582 billion.
The total arrears of wages in Ukraine in November 2017 rose 5.1% since the beginning of the year – 44,2% and by 1 December reached 2,582 billion.
As noted, in November, the amount of arrears of wages of economically active enterprises increased by 9.3% and by 1 December of the year totaled 1,457 billion.
In November, the arrears of wages decreased in Vinnytsia (10.4%), Ternopil (by 10.0%), Chernihiv (4.6%), Lviv (2.3%), Zaporizhzhya (1.2%), Kharkiv (0.7%) regions and in Kyiv (1.9%).
The growth of wage arrears in the last month was recorded in Chernivtsi (2.2%), Transcarpathian (1.7 times), Ivano-Frankivsk (31.6%), Cherkasy (by 18.2%), Khmelnytskyi (14.6%), Kirovohrad (by 10.5%), Kherson (8.3%), Poltava (6.1%), Dnipropetrovsk (4.8%), Volyn (by 4.3%), Kyiv (3.5%), Rivne (by 2.5%), Nicholas (2.4%) regions.
By early December, more than three-quarters of the amount of the debt of economically active enterprises accounted for the industry (77,6%). With almost half the amount of debt formed in Donetsk (31.2%) and Luhansk (16,5%) regions.
In November 2017, the arrears of wages increased in education – 50,3% (to 12.84 million UAH), temporary accommodation and food – 38.7% (up to 4,163 million UAH), health care – 21.1% (up to 43,876 million UAH), art, sports, entertainment and recreation by 15.1% (to UAH 3,278 million), activities in the field of administrative and support services – 14.3% (up to 9,663 million UAH).
Also increased the debt of public administration and defence, compulsory social insurance – 8.7% (up to 6,222 million UAH), industry – by 5.2% (up to 1,988 billion), transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities 4.8% (198,709 million), professional, scientific and technical activities – by 3.3% (117,308 million UAH), construction – 1.9% (90,223 million UAH), information and telecommunications – 1.6% (6,493 million UAH), wholesale and retail trade – 1.4% (17,834 million UAH).

This reduction of wage arrears was observed in financial and insurance sectors – by 16.9% (up to 17,457 million), agriculture – 2.1% (11,203 million UAH), on operations with real estate – 1.2% (47,378 million UAH).
