In Ukraine slowed down inflation

With the beginning of the year prices rose by 12.5%

In Ukraine (excluding the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and part of the zone of antiterrorist operations) to November 2017 were recorded inflation of 0.9% compared to inflation of 1.2% in October 2017. According to the State statistics service (gosstat).

It is noted that compared to November 2016 prices in the consumer market has grown by 13.6% since the beginning of 2017 – 12.5%. According to state statistics, in November the prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages rose 0.9%. Most (11.2%) have expensive eggs. 2.3-5.9% increase in prices for lard, milk, sour cream, cheese, butter, dairy products, bread. At the same time, 1.4-6.8 percent cheaper buckwheat, sugar, fruits, poultry, pork. Prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco increased by 0.6%.

The growth of prices (tariffs) for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 0.8% mainly due to increase in tariffs for heating by 2.5%, the maintenance of houses and adjoining areas 1.2%. Higher prices for transport in General by 2%, mainly due to rising costs of fuel and oils by 3.3%, and fares in road transport by 1.9%. In the field of communication prices rose 0.9% due to a rise in price of mobile services by 2%.

Recall that inflation in Ukraine (excluding the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, Sevastopol and part of the zone ATO) in 2016 is 12.4%.
