Gas storage in Ukraine is filled by 43.4%.
Natural gas reserves in Ukrainian underground gas storages (UGS) from the beginning of the injection season (April 9) increased by 80,66%, or $ 5,997 billion cubic meters, up to 13,432 billion cubic meters.
This is illustrated by the operator of the gas transportation system of Ukraine state company “Ukrtransgaz”. According to state-owned companies, from 1 to 11 August, the vault was pumped 593,18 million cubic meters of gas. As of 11 August, the reserves of gas in underground storage facilities amount 13,432 billion cubic meters by 2.25%, or 309,7 million cubic meters less than the same date in 2017 (13,742 billion cubic meters).
According to “Ukrtransgaz”, from 1 to 11 August, Ukraine imported 438,1 million cubic meters of gas (237,9 million cubic meters through Slovakia, 176,4 million cu m via Hungary, 23.8 million cubic meters through Poland).
Own production from 1 to 11 August was 627,3 million cubic meters and transit – 2,719 billion cubic meters.
It is noted that as of 11 August, the Ukrainian gas storage facilities filled by 43.4%.
