In Ukraine will continue to go up the taxi fare, rates will rise Oct – Nov 10%.
About this informed the head of Ukrainian taxi Association Andrey Antonyuk.
“The current increase is seasonal. With the beginning of autumn to the capital returned vacationers and increased number of visitors. Increased demand for taxi services, respectively, and prices have gone up 5-10%, but this is not the last price hike. In October – November, the rates will rise another 10%,” – said A. Antoniuk.
According to him, another seasonal rise in prices will be in December of this year.
“Another seasonal rise in prices will be in December. In the country more expensive LPG, gasoline, and spare parts. Before the new year the taxi prices will rise again, at least 10%. After the holidays expect to reduce them is not necessary, as the market is not controlled by, and taxi drivers themselves dictate and set prices”,- concluded A. Antoniuk.
Recall rates in Kiev taxi to the middle of September 2017 has jumped by 15-20%, and some carriers and not inflated prices by 50%. In the taxi services this growth to justify increase in fuel prices and seasonal factors — passengers, who returned home from holidays, was more afraid of the new enhancements.
