The average price for buckwheat in October fell by 8.2 per cent to 20.35 UAH/kg.
This was reported in the State statistics service of Ukraine.
It is also noted that the Ministry of agrarian policy and food forecasts the harvest of buckwheat 180 thousand tonnes in 2017 with domestic consumption of 150 thousand tons.
Recall from 11 September to 10 October, the average prices for buckwheat decreased by 8.4% or by UAH 2 UAH to 22.17/kg.
Also earlier it was reported that in September, food prices rose 2%.
