Deputies propose to give more rights to the owners of electric vehicles.
MPs propose to the Ukrainian Parliament to exempt drivers of electric vehicles from paying for Parking and to allow them to ride on the public transport lane. Bill No. 7156-2 registered in the Parliament on 17 October.
The draft Law “On amendments to the Tax code of Ukraine concerning the creation of conditions for dissemination and popularization of electric vehicles in Ukraine” offers until December 31, 2022, exempt from taxation the value added tax, transactions on import on customs territory of Ukraine vehicles equipped with only the electric motors.
The document also provides for temporary, until December 31, 2022, the exemption from taxation on value added of transactions on delivery of services on transportation of passengers by taxi, equipped with only the electric motor, and lease passenger transport, has only the electric motor.
In addition, the document proposes until December 31, 2022, exempt from taxation the excise tax of transactions on import on customs territory of Ukraine vehicles equipped with only the electric motors.
The bill proposes to oblige the local authorities to equip the sites for Parking places for paid charge vehicles equipped with electric motors, in the amount of not less than 5% of the total number of Parking spaces. The authors of the bill – deputies Alexey Ryabchin and Elena Shkrum.
