In Ukraine a new State building codes allow you to place playgrounds on the roofs of buildings up to 15 m but not more than three floors. On Tuesday, February 26, the press service of the minregionstroya.
In particular, according to the new rules, children’s playgrounds on the roofs shall be equipped with a parapet and safety fence with a height of two meters. Moreover, in the territory of such platforms, is prohibited to place the vents, antenna structures of mobile and cellular communication.
As follows from the document, another condition of placement of such sites on the roof of the building is the provision of drainage of rain and melt water and, if necessary, noise protection of downstream areas.
“These changes will enhance comfortable living conditions for residents and to provide them with the necessary landscaping. By the way, these playgrounds are widely distributed in many European countries, such as Germany, Denmark, Finland, and the United States, Canada, and Japan,” – said in the Ministry.
