The Ukrainians began to get suspicious of the message about locking their Bank cards in the “Oshchadbank”.
This was reported by journalist Sevgil Musaeva-Borovik, who also received a suspicious text message.
According to her, the scammers send a message that the card is blocked and at the end write the number in order to know the details.
“I suppose people call you, call their card details, then there is a purchase in the online store,” she wrote.
However, the journalist immediately managed to bring fraudsters to clean water. She called the listed number and asked how they got her number because she is no longer a client of “Oschadbank”.
“The guy hung up and blocked my number,” wrote Musaeva-Borovik.
