In Ukraine (excluding the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and part of the zone of the antiterrorist operation) manufacture of chocolate and food preparations containing cocoa (excluding cocoa powder sweetened), in packages weighing less than 2 kg, in March of 2017 amounted to 13.5 thousand tons, which is 4.4% more than the same period of 2016.
According to the State statistics service (state statistics) in today’s report on industrial production in Ukraine.
The February 2017 manufacture of chocolate has increased by 9.6%. For 3 months, was produced 39.7 million tons of chocolate (+5% compared to the same period in 2016).
The production of sugar confectionery (including white chocolate), not containing cocoa in March amounted to 14.6 thousand tons, which is 1.7% more than March 2016 and 0.7% more Feb 2017 3 month was 41.2 thousand tons of confectionery (+2.2 per cent).
Production of sweet biscuits, waffles in March 2017 amounted to 22.6 thousand tons, which is 6,3% more than in March 2016 and 8% more than in Feb 2017 3 month was 61.6 thousand tons (+7,5%).
