A correction of the rates associated with the rise of the Euro.
The decision of the National Commission carrying out regulation in the sphere of energy and utilities of Ukraine (NKREKU) No. 359, dated 23 March 2017 to increase by 0.75% of “green tariffs” for households came into effect from 24 June.
The document published in Saturday’s issue of the official newspaper Uryadovy courier.
As stated in the justification of changes, correction of tariffs is connected with the rise of the Euro.
Earlier, a group of deputies earning high rates of “green” electricity, proposed to maintain until at least 2020, existing in Ukraine tariffs, which are the highest in Europe.
Recall that in March last year NCIKU increased by 4.6% “green” tariffs for electricity produced by solar and wind installations.
For three years Ukraine has attracted more than €700 million investment in the development of alternative sources of energy.
