The rise in price of eggs is due to monopolization of the Ukrainian market, experts say.
At the end of the last decade of September, eggs in supermarkets has risen by 11%. The price of a dozen is now close to 19 hryvnia.
At the same time, experts fix a fairly serious price hikes: in comparison with September of last year, eggs have risen by 22%, but compared to prices of January of the current year, eggs became cheaper by 10%.
The rise in price of eggs is due to monopolization of the Ukrainian market, as well as with the possibility of expansion of presence of Ukrainian producers on the European market. The latter circumstance reduces demand and contributes to price increases in Ukraine.
Experts note that the cost of eggs, is highly dependent on the solvency of the population, which means in the end of the year we should expect even greater price increases in respect of Finance charges, which before the new year usually gets people.
In addition, eggs are included in a large number of dishes that prepare Ukrainians for the festive table and this is another reason for the price increase.
