The MP allows for the establishment of speed limits on some streets.
MP from the faction “people’s front” Anton Gerashchenko allows the establishment of speed limits on some streets up to 80-90 km/h.
“This does not mean that all of the streets of Kiev or other large Ukrainian cities must be equipped with signs only 50 km/h. We have these rules allow cities to rank speed, he said.
The Deputy also admits that in Kiev on Victory Avenue or the Avenue Bazhana can be set to a speed of 80-90 km/h
“And so we will make sure that where the streets are narrow, we will force drivers to reduce speed”, he added.
Gerashchenko believes that this decision will lead to a reduction in deaths on the road and to reduce the incidence of injuries of the participants of the accident.
