In Ukraine began to speak the truth about the civil war in the Donbas

The former commander of the volunteer battalion “Donbass” and Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada semen Semenchenko has threatened the ex-chief of General staff of Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) Viktor Muzhenko after his confession in the attack on the battalion in 2014. 16 Jun Muzhenko admitted that Ukrainian aircraft attacked a convoy of the battalion “Donbass” in 2014. According to him, the pilots noticed military vehicles and attacked, not understanding, whose is the army. Muzhenko noted that after this incident, began to put white stripes on equipment to distinguish their forces from enemy forces.

Volunteer battalion “Donbass” was formed in April 2014. In July of the same year the division moved to public service, and the remaining group of volunteers that have not signed a contract with the defense Ministry and interior Ministry will involve the protection of various objects in the four districts of Western Donbas.

The armed conflict in the Donbas began in the spring of 2014. Part of the region came under the control of Kiev, after which was formed the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people’s Republic. Ukraine has repeatedly accused Russia of involvement in what is happening, but Moscow denies the charges.
