Bills will not be accepted in banks.
The national Bank of Ukraine has banned banks and financial institutions to conduct any transactions with Russian notes and coins, which shows the Crimea.
The prohibition also applies to transactions conducted during the purchase/sale of foreign currency between banks, said in a statement NBU.
Such banknotes are prohibited from issuing banks and JSC “Ukrposhta” when receiving and transfers. The decree comes into force from 17 October 2017.
